How it Works:
They have boxes for dogs or for cats. (You can also mix it up if you have both a dog and cat).  At the beginning it offers a mystery box or a custom box.  I choose custom because I wanted to see what the choices were. Each box has a set number of points to use in their "store". They are distributed as such: Snack 200, Deluxe 400, Premium 800, Multi-Pet 1200.  These points are flexible.  If you don't spend them all they get rolled over to the next month.  If you go over your points, you can pay the difference. The points can be used for toys, treats, grooming supplies, accessories, or waste bags.

I got the deluxe box.  According to them I am to get 2-3 items.  Which it can be that little, but I was stingy.  I tried to see exactly how much I could get for 400 points.  I ended up with four items and used all 400 points.  Next month, I'm getting four items, and only used 350 points.

I have to apologize for the pictures, my cats were so excited!  We have three cats; two 12 year olds, and a kitten (5 months). I've been interested in trying a pet box for a while.  Sense I buy all this stuff anyways, I thought it would be nice for the boys to get something.  I saw this on Groupon.  I got a six month subscription for only $9.99 a month.  I will review this though as if I were paying full price.

The box for the deluxe box was a decent size.  This is Moe, he was right up in my business.

Trying to get it opened was quite the challenge.  Loki and Moe really wanted to know what was inside.

It is nice that Petbox helps feed rescued pets!

Not Loki's best side, but all three of them are now taking interest.  This was quite the affair!
Item #1: PawGanicsAll Natural Grooming Wipes 140 Points
Retail Value: $6.99
This is a great item.  We get the Petco brand for Moe.  They usually only have 20 wipes for the same price as these.  This package has 40 wipes so they will last a while.  I like how they are all natural and resealable.

Item #2: Spot Refillable Catnip Insect
120 Points
Retail Price: $4.00
I wish they had given us a choice of which one we'd receive.  I personally wouldn't have picked a pink butterfly for our male cats.  At the beginning you do a pet profile so it was stated I had male cats.  Not like they cared though.  I got this toy for Loki.  Sense he is still a kitten I didn't want to give him the catnip mouse which is below.  This is a bit messy.  It does not hold a lot of catnip, and didn't velcro shut very well.  I think it was due to the fact that it was full. (Even though there wasn't a lot in it)  Loki did like it and played for about ten minutes before realizing there was a box to play with.

Spot 100% Catnip Candy Mice (Two Pack)
70 Points
Retail Price:  $3.00
These are for our two older boys.  It was hard to even get this picture because all three of them were trying to get it open.   They are well made and they went biserk for them.  These are always a big hit, so I'm glad they didn't disappoint.
My Little Lions Cat Treats
70 Points
Retail Price: $2.99
These are duck flavored, grain free, all natural treats. They are soft, and devoured. All three boys had some.  (Loki just a couple)
So altogether this box had a value of $16.98.  I think if I had paid the full $19.95 I'd be disappointed.  I know you are paying for the service.  But all four of these things they sell at Petco.  If you are a pet owner you could have easily picked these up at Petco and saved the $3.00.

I do think me paying the $9.99 was worth it.  I loved the cats' reactions.  All three were excited and playing together.  They will have quite the toy collection in six months!
