These are a few of my Favorite Things

I want to get back on track with blogging. Here are my favorite things from the past few months.  This is quite a list so I'll make the reviews short and sweet.

Make up
Stila: All Day Liquid Lipstick - Fiore

I've tried multiple colors of this, and the formula is so good! As you can see this is my only favorite lip product right now; and for good reason.  I put this on one day before work on a whim, and it lasted my whole shift with no smudges, bleeding, of fading.  The color was perfect up until 6pm. Definatly worth the splurge!

Too Faced: Tinted Beauty Balm - Golden Medium

There are so many Tinted Moisturizers out there right now.  I kind of just grabbed this one to try it out.  I've only tried Olay's BB cream to compare it to.  I wouldn't really use this as a moisturizer, but it is a great medium coverage foundation.  It is a bit dark for me, but once I put some finishing powder on top it makes it the perfect color.  This is not for someone who has oily skin.

Covergirl: Lash Blast Volume Mascara - Waterproof

All of the lash blast mascaras are amazing!  Why pay $30 on a Dior mascara when you can get a Covergirl one, which is better in my opinion, and for only $12.  I got these because I'm a crazy couponer, so I only paid around $3 each, what a deal!  I don't think I'd buy another high end mascara again.

Miguhara: BP Cream/Primer
I got this in a Memebox, and I'm in love! This is an amazing primer.  At first I thought it was weird that it comes out gray, but once you put it on it just evens out all the blemishes.  It makes your skin look so flawless, I can always tell on the days I wear it how amazing my skin looks. I have rosey cheeks, and this evens out the color so well.  I haven't been able to find it anywhere sense its a Korean product, so will be sad when it runs out.

Sephora: Jumbo Liners - Love them all
I love anything in pencil/crayon form.  These are no different.  I try these all the time, and each one is flawless.  The pigmentation is amazing, they smudge really nice.  If you want a bright eye look, just swipe over your eye lid and blend it out.  Maybe add a little to the under eye too.  I just happened to buy these colors for my peacock look, but all are amazing.

Ulta: Extreme Wear Cheek Mouse - Pink Glow
At first I wasn't a huge fan of this, but now I keep reaching for it.  It gives me a very light flush in the cheeks, and its a really pretty pink.  Love the smooth mouse feel.

Smashbox: Masters Palette III
I cannot say enough good things for this palette.  It has 32 gorgeous, highly pigmented shadows, a contour, bronzer and highlighter as well as three beautiful blushes.  There is not one color which is a dud.  They are all very creamy, and its organized fantastically.  Love how there are the neutrals and the brights.  You can pretty much do any eye look using this one palette.  I use every day in one way or another.

Too Faced: Perfect Brow Kit

For someone new to brows this is a great kit.  It includes two brow shades, a highlighter, wax (I don't really use), tweezers (not pictured), brow wand and brush.  In the bottom also had a small brow pencil and stencils for if you are new to shaping.  The whole set up is very thoughtful and each item has been put to good use.

Nail Care
Sephoras: Instant Nail Polish Remover for Glitter

Three seconds is all it takes for the nail polish to come off.  I grabbed the glitter one so I didn't have to buy two removers.  It is amazing!! It doesn't smell as potent as some other removers and I am finished taking off the polish in under a minute.

Sephoras: Instant Nail and Cuticle Care

I use this now after I take off my polish and does work.  My nails were very cracked and splitting.  About two weeks now sense I've started using this, and my nails look so healthy.

China Glaze: Frostbite
My husband bought this for me because our last name is frost.  I put this on at least once a week.  The color doesn't really chip, but it does fade at the tips.  However, its a great two coat polish with very vibrant effects. Lately when I do my nails this has been the color I've been reaching for.  I know blue polish isn't everyones cup of tea, but it is mine.

Perfume

Coach: Duo Rollerballs for Poppy and Poppy Seed

I have these two scents in the pencil form too. I love these sweet floral scents.  I bought this rollerball about a year ago and I've just started to use it.  Makes me feel very girly when I wear it.

Hair and Skin Care
Organix: Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner

This smells like the Bahamas in a bottle.  Coconut milk is really good for dry hair, and I have noticed my hair looking healthier.  In the shower the smell just wakes me up, and the lather is really nice.  You can often find this brand on sale, or coupons online.

Vitamin E Oil
I've been putting this on my face about twice a week.  It is really good for your skin, and I like how its greasy, but seeps in quickly.  I got the CVS brand because Vitamins don't change if you change brands.  It was only $3 for the bottle.

Lifestyle Items
Stones for the River by Ursula Hegi

I've read this book three times now, and as I get older it gets better.  It is based in WWII in Germany.  The main character is a dwarf.  You see through her the struggles of her town and life there. It is a slow start, but around 50 pages in I always get hooked.

Dragon Age 2
I am a gamer and am currently playing Dragon Age 2.  I recently completed Origins after restarting about four times.  If you have a person who loves RPG than this is a great series.  Inquisition came out recently, haven't played it yet, but very excited to extend my collection.

Favorite Subscription
Memebox
Check out my blogs about this subscription.  Beware it is addicting.  Unlike most subscriptions, this is one where you pay for what you want.  You get to see the boxes which are available and purchase them. I have gotten around 10 so far, and for the price of $23-$30, you get around $150 worth of product!  I have loved most everything and all of the products are of great quality.
