Taste Guru Review: March 2014

Taste Guru Final Review
Subscription Price: $24-$34 depending how long you commit.
P&P: Included
What it is: Receive 6-7 full sized gluten free items
Estimated Value: $50 (at least that's what they said)

GW RarciaTortatos
Price: $4
Review: These were very tasty, thicker slices which are nice.  I'd love to try with salsa or guacamole. Yum!

Ips
Egg White Chips
Price: $1.60
Total Value:$5.60
Review: I was a bit nervous to try these.  They were okay.  The cheddar taste could have been a lot stronger, and the after taste was a bit weird, but there was a lot in the bag for only one serving.

Medjool Dates
Price: $4.00
Total Value: $9.60
Review: haven't tried yet.

Keen One Quinoa
Garden Medley

Price: $2
Total Value: $11.60
Review: This was super easy to make, and the texture was good, but the flavor was really odd.  Wasn't my favorite thing, but at least it was something I could add to my dinner.

Cook Simple
All American Sloppy Joe Mix
Price: $4.30
Total Value: $15.90
Review: Haven't tried Yet

On Right
Enjoy Life
S'more Bar

Price: $.90
Total Value: $16.80
Review: This was kind of a brownie consistency.  Taste really nice, the only thing I didn't like was the grainy texture.

Bakery on Main
Peanut Butter Chocolate Granola Bars
Price: $5.20

Total Value: $22.00
Review: This was the best thing in the box.  It is full size with six bars in it.  They have a nice light peanut butter taste, and the chocolate is soooo good.  There are a ton of chocolate pieces, get them in every bite.

Overall Review:  Again not at all the $50 worth of products. Or even covering the cost of the box.  You are paying for the service, and not the products themselves.  Disappointed, I thought I'd like this box way more than I did.  Off to find more subscriptions!!!
