Subscription Price: $24-$34
P&P: Included
What it is: Receive 6-7 full sized gluten free items
Estimated Value: $50 (at least that's what they said)
I have to say I'm a bit let down this month. Each box has an estimated value of $50. When I posted a negative comment on their Facebook page, stating that this month it didn't even reach $20, they responded that with all the products we got and we also with shipping, packing, and fulfillment on their end it is close to $50. Maybe if the products were full sized I'd see the value, but I didn't realize they were including the effort on their part of making the box. Here is what we received this month. You can see for yourself.
Dr Mc Dougall's (received two soups)
Vegan Tortilla Soup with Baked Chips
Pad Thai Noddle Soup
Pad Thai Noddle Soup
Servings; 1 each
Review: This cup of soup is very tomato tasting, and gave me a belly ache afterwards. It was convenient to bring to work.
Haven't tried the Thai one yet.
Retails: $1.99 (each) $3.98

Straw Propeller Gormet Foods
Apple Crisp Gluten Free Oatmeal
with apples, walnuts, and white chocolate chips
Servings 1
Review: This was probably the best oatmeal I've ever had, it was so tasty and sweet! Made my morning
Retails: $3.50
Total Box Value $7.48
Gluten Free Plain Linguini
Servings 4
Review: As you can see from the picture it was extremely damaged. The packaging is huge compared to the box. This was the only full sized item (where you can actually share). They also included a recipe card to use this with. I haven't used this yet, but according to other reviews it is gummy.
Retails: $6.95
Total Box Value: $14.43
Poplets Toasted Corn Centers
Chile Picante
Servings: 1
Review: I can't have spicy, and don't like chili flavors, so these went to my husband. He really enjoyed them. But how they can consider the next three items as full sized is ridiculous. Each only has one serving .5 oz of product. I liked this last box because I was able to share with my husband. But even the snack sized bags were tiny, and had more air than product.
Retails: $1.50
Total Box Value: $15.93

Snikiddy
Eat Your Vegetables Sea Salt
Servings: 1
Review: Again another extremely small "full sized" item. It probably had 10 pieces total with in this .5 oz bag. They were tasty, very full of flavor. I was just extremely disappointed with the amount that we received.
Retails: $1.50
Total Box Value: $17.43

Snapz
Crunchy Apple Crisps
Servings: 1
Review: More air than product. They were full of flavor, and I liked that they were crunchy and not chewy. But again let down of the amount.
Retails: $1.00
Total Box Value: $18.43
Final Analysis: This box was not at all close to the $50 they say it is. Apparently we are paying for the service, and not the product itself. I would have least liked to see the $34 worth of product which you pay for. I would much rather go to the grocery store and just pick up $34 worth of groceries a month to try on my own. I've never had a subscription box be less than the amount paid. Next month is the last month in my subscription. If its anything like this I wont be signing up for longer.
