First let me introduce you to Julep®.  Julep is a nail polish company which has salon nail and beauty products.  The company is based out of Seattle Washington, and the polish is fantastic.  A Maven is someone who is apart of their monthly nail polish subscription.  I am a Maven. I get around 3 nail polishes a month, all new, never before seen colors.

There are five versions you can choose from
Classic with a Twist: Chic, elegant colors which pair well with any occasion: 2 nail colors & 1 full sized beauty product

Bombshell: Bold, glam colors and anything that sparkles: 2 nail colors & 1 full sized beauty product

Boho Glam: Earthy tones and playful, vibrant colors: 2 nail colors & 1 full sized beauty product

It Girl: Cutting-edge colors and finishes that make a statement: 3 nail polishes

Modern Beauty: latest, most innovative products: 2 full sized beauty products every month

How it works:
Each month the company features a collection. Like the one below.

Between the 20th-24th you have a window to choose which box you will take.  If you don't go into your account you will get your default box for that month. There are options to upgrade, add on extra products,  gifting options, and last but not least skip.  They have a new policy that when you join you do have to commit for 6 months, before the option to skip is available. However, if you are nervous about signing up due to replica polishes, you again, have the option to switch boxes, or if you don't want the polishes choose Modern Beauty and receive the products for this month.

After the 24th the window for that month is closed, and you no longer have the option to switch boxes or skip, you will automatically be billed on the 27th and your box should arrive with in the week (Longer if you are Canadian)

Another perk, if you do purchase a box that month, on the 1st of the following month the Secret Store is open, and you get dibs on some really good deals, up to 60% off select products.

They do have a really great referral program as well.  For every two people you refer, you receive one free month! You also get Jules (reward points) for each month you get a box, birthday, joining, and anniversary.
